April 2026 — Full Thermodynamic Design Complete

CryoDrive 5 reference system thermodynamic design is finalized with 16+ verified state points. The completed design establishes 58.2% combined-cycle efficiency from a 3.3 MW gas turbine fuel stream, achieved through a recuperated ethylene Organic Rankine Cycle condensing against the LNG cold sink.

March 2026 — Hitachi MOU Signed

NexGen Power Systems and Hitachi Industrial Products execute a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of custom permanent-magnet generators sized for the CryoDrive 5 platform. The agreement covers prototype development, qualification testing, and series production scaling, with manufacturing through Joliet Electric Motors (Hitachi USA).

2025 — Kingman, AZ Site Acquired

2025 — Kingman, AZ Site Acquired NexGen acquires 20-acre site south of Kingman for the Center for Cryogenics Applications Research. Phase 1 power generation lab construction begins Q2 2026.
